News from ABSMIDS | A free anti-tobacco and oral health awareness program

The Dept. of Public Health Dentistry, ABSMIDS in association with the Dept. of PG Studies & Research in Social Work, Mangalore University and Indian Cancer Society, conducted a free anti-tobacco and oral health awareness program at First Grade College, Kurnadu, Mudipu on 30.12.2024. Oral health awareness was provided by Dr. Shilpa M, Lecturer, who emphasized on the ill effects of tobacco, the influence of tobacco industry on children and measures to protect the students from the ill effects of tobacco. Around 124 students were benefitted.
