The Alumni Association of Dr. NSAM PU College organised a Sports Meet and Talent Felicitation program at Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Angaragundi, Baikampady on 31st December 2024.
Addressing the gathering, Chief guest, Dr. Naveen Shetty, Principal, Dr. NSAM PUC, Mangalore said, “Sports and cultural activities are an integral part of education. Participation in competitions is very important. Winning & losing should be accepted equally. Losses serve as stepping stones to future success. Sports teach us resilience and the spirit of perseverance. While some give up after failure, we must rise above, staying determined and persistent, as this is the true path to success.”
Presiding over the event, Mr. Abdul Gafoor Baikampady, President, Angaragundi School Management Committee said, “When communities and organizations work together with government schools, the collaboration becomes meaningful. The service activities of the Nitte Alumni Association in this regard are commendable.”
The alumni actively participated in the event.
