The Department of Physiology, KS Hegde Medical Academy organized a one-day workshop on Metrics of Built, Beat and Breath on 24th January 2025, focused on equipping educators with advanced knowledge & skills in assessing and understanding physiological health metrics.
 
Chief guest Dr. VK Sashindran, delivered the keynote address on the significance of integrating physiology with Metrics of Built, Beat & Breath and health-promoting spaces.

Dr. Ankeeta Menona Jacob, Assoc. Professor, Community Medicine conducted a live interactive session on various methods of small group teaching. The participants took part in hands-on sessions to measure and analyze the metrics related to anthropometry, cardiac functions and respiratory parameters.
