The Nitte Center of Excellence for Applied Artificial Intelligence and the Department of Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, NMAMIT in association with ARK Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, organized a week-long training program on ‘Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality from 2nd to 9th January 2025.
The event was formally inaugurated by Dr. Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, Principal in the presence of Dr. Muralidhara, Professor & HoD, Robotics & AI and Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Sr. Technical Consultant, ARK Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. Dr. Chiplunkar emphasized the importance of emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in the academic and professional landscape. He highlighted the transformative potential of AR and VR in enhancing learning, research, and innovation.
Dr. Rashmi P. Shetty, Assoc. Professor, R&AI welcomed the gathering and Dr. Roopa Hegde, Assoc. Professor, ECE delivered the vote of thanks.
