The Department of Physical Education, ABSMIDS successfully organized the Inter-Nitte Football Tournament on 29th & 30th January 2025 at the Nitte Grounds, Deralakatte. The tournament followed a knockout format and witnessed participation from 11 teams representing various constituent colleges of Nitte University.
The tournament was inaugurated by Prof (Dr) Manoj Shetty, HoD, Oral Implantology, who extended his best wishes to all the participating teams and concluded with a grand closing ceremony, where Dr. Nanda Kishore, Dept. of Orthodontics distributed prizes to the winners.

Best Goal Keeper: Karma from Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences
Best Defender: Chethan from NMAM Institute of Technology
Champions: Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences
Runners-up: NMAM Institute of TechnologyThe tournament served as a platform for students to showcase their sportsmanship, teamwork and passion for football, making it a memorable event for all participants.
