The two-day Multiconference ‘ICETE 2025’, a flagship event hosted by NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte was inaugurated on 6th February 2025 by the Chief Guest, Dr. In Ho Ra, Professor of Information and Telecommunication Engineering at Kunsan National University, South Korea. This prestigious conference brought together eminent academicians, researchers and professionals from around the world to discuss advancements in various domains under the umbrella of NITTE-BIO 2025, CTCS 2025, AIDE 2025, AREEV 2025, VSPICE 2025, SME 2025 and MSMAT 2025.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Ra emphasized the significance of international collaborations in driving innovation and achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs). Guests of Honour included prominent figures such as Dr. Kumarappan, Past Chairman of IEEE Madras Section; Dr. Firdaus Abdul Mohammed from University Technology Malaysia; Dr. Takamoto Itoh from Ritsumeikan University, Japan; Mr. Murali Iyer, former partner at WIPFLI, USA and Dr. Mohamad Nur Khairul Hafizi bin Rohani from Universiti Malaysia Perlis. Each shared valuable insights, stressing the importance of interdisciplinary research in addressing global challenges. The program was presided over by Dr. MS Moodithaya, Vice Chancellor, Nitte DU who applauded the efforts of the organizing committee and reiterated the institution’s commitment to fostering research and development.
The event featured technical sessions, keynote addresses and networking opportunities, providing a platform for sharing groundbreaking research and exploring future collaborations.
Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT welcomed the gathering. The Chief Convenor of the Conference & Dean (R&D), Dr. Sudesh Bekal gave a comprehensive presentation on the conference. Conference Secretary & HoD, Computer & Communication Engineering Dr. Radhakrishna delivered the vote of thanks. Ms. Shweta Bharath & Ms. Soumyashree, Asst. Professors, Dept. of Humanities were the masters of ceremony.
During the two-day conference, 15 experts from various disciplines of technology delivered keynote addresses. 2300 quality research papers were received from national and international researchers, out of which 438 papers were invited for presentation after expert review.
