The second year ADFT students had the privilege of attending an insightful session by Ms. Trisha, alumna of the institute on 17th February 2025.
Trisha, currently pursuing her BDes at Nitte School of Fashion Technology & Interior Design, Yelahanka shared her experiences & guided students on the various higher education opportunities available in the field of fashion design. She highlighted the advantages of pursuing advanced studies and how they can enhance career prospects in the industry. She elaborated on the importance of technical skills & software applications in modern fashion design and introduced students to essential design tools used in the industry, explaining their role in creating digital fashion illustrations, textile patterns and garment construction. Her practical insights helped students understand how software proficiency can provide a competitive edge in the evolving fashion industry.
The interactive session that followed proved to be highly beneficial to the students. Ms. Dhanalaxmi Pai, HoD, ADFT coordinated the session.
