News from NMAMIT | College Day 2025

Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology celebrated its Annual Day on 8th March, 2025 at the auditorium of B.C. Alva Sports Complex, Nitte. Attended by students, staff and esteemed guests, the event marked a day of recognition, inspiration and celebration of academic and extra-curricular achievements.

Mr. Suyog Shetty, Chief Executive Officer, Niveus Solutions, was the chief guest of the function. In his address, he shared valuable insights on career growth, innovation and the importance of adaptability in an ever-evolving technology landscape. His inspiring words encouraged the students to embrace challenges and strive for excellence in their respective fields.

Prof. A. Yogesh Hegde, Director (Campus Maintenance & Development) presided over the function. Appreciating the commitment and hard work of the students, he explained the institute's commitment to promote holistic development.




As part of the college day celebrations, prizes were distributed to the top performers in academic and sports disciplines. On this occasion, the institute's alumnus sponsored award, i.e Sanjeeth Shetty Award was distributed to the students in the presence of Prof. Shalini K Sharma, Former HoD, Counseling, Welfare, Training and Placements at NMAMIT and Mr. Vivek Viswanathan, CEO of Sanjeeth Shetty Foundation.

Principal Dr. Niranjan Chiplunkar welcomed the gathering and read out the Annual Report. Vice-Principal Dr. I.R. Mithanthaya read out the list of student achievers. The list of awardees sponsored by entrepreneur and alumnus N Sanjeeth Shetty was announced by Dr. Grynal Dmello, Coordinator, Alumni Cell, NMAMIT. Dr. Ganesh Poojary, Physical Education Director read out the list of sports achievers. Ms. Swasti Shetty, a student, introduced the guest to the audience. Dr. Narasimha Bailkeri, Dean (Student Welfare) proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Vidhatrirendered the invocation. Students Mr. Andrew D'Almeida and Ms. Kushi Malli compered the program.
