The NSS Unit of NRAM Polytechnic conducted a workshop on "Legends and Icons" on 18th March 2025. The resource person JC Rajendra Bhat, a national trainer from JCI India explained the importance of learning from legends & icons who have made a significant impact in various fields. He discussed the qualities that set these individuals apart, including determination, leadership and resilience. Using engaging storytelling techniques, he shared inspiring anecdotes from the lives of historical figures, entrepreneurs and social reformers. This helped students connect with the topic on a personal level. He provided practical advice on goal-setting, self-discipline & time management and discussed how embracing challenges & failures as learning opportunities, is crucial for personal & professional growth. The students were encouraged to reflect on their own aspirations and the steps needed to achieve them. Mr. Bhat conveyed that knowledge combined with emotions is what truly drives individuals to achieve greater heights. He encouraged students to cultivate strong emotions, confidence, values and knowledge as essential attributes for achieving success.
The interactive Q&A approach ensured that the students remained involved and took away valuable lessons from the session.
