The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in association with the Sports Association and SDG Cell of Dr. NSAM First Grade College, organized an outreach program on ‘Nurturing Hope: A Dedication to Caring for Orphans’ at Hosabelaku Seva Trust, Bailur on 24th February 2025.
The keynote speech was delivered by Ms. Tanula Tarun, Founder, Hosabelaku Seva Trust, who shared her journey, highlighting the milestones and efforts she put into establishing the Seva Trust, as well as the challenges she overcame and her dedication to providing a safe and nurturing environment for the residents. She also briefed on the background of the ashram’s inmates. Residents of the ashram shared their life stories and experiences.
The students donated ₹25000, distributed fruits and put up performances with active participation of the inmates. The program was presided over by Dr. Veena Kumari BK, Principal. Ms Sowmya MJ, SDG Coordinator coordinated the program.
