News from NIPT | Inter-institutional Debate Competition

The Nitte Bioethics - Students Wing, in collaboration with the Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy, organized an Inter-institutional Debate Competition on 27th June 2025 at the Patanjali Yoga Hall, NIPT. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 9 teams across various institutions of Nitte University. The judges of the competition were Mr.Nityal Kumar (Asst.Professor, NIPT) and Mr. Prasanth Iyer (Asst.Professor, NUCSER).

After a series of intellectually stimulating rounds, the final round saw a competitive face-off between the team from K S Hegde Medical Academy and the team from Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy.

The team from KSHEMA emerged victorious, while the NIPT team was declared the Runner-up.

The event was coordinated by Mr. Jayesh Chandran -Committee member with the support of Manav Arora; Mrugna Vijay and Shouriya Shetty, President, Vice President and Secretary of Nitte Bioethics Students wing respectively.
