The NSS and Red Cross Units of NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte in association with K S Hegde Medical Academy, Lions Club Hiriyadka, Rotary Community Club Kemmannu, Rotary Club Nitte and Lions Club Bappanadu, organized a Blood Donation Camp in the college campus on 24th September 2025. The program aimed to spread awareness on the importance of donating blood and to encourage students and staff to contribute to this noble cause.
Chief guest MJF Lion Rajeev Kotian, First Sub District Governor, Lions Club 317C highlighted the value of blood donation in saving lives and lauded the efforts of the institution in collaborating with service organizations. The function was presided over by Sri. Vishwanath K, Principal, NRAM Polytechnic, who stressed the role of students in community welfare activities.
Students, staff and community members actively participated in the event. 72 units of blood were collected during the camp.
