Nitte University Centre for Science Education & Research (NUCSER) organised Milan 2025, the Annual Alumni Meet on 6th November 2025 at Le Sparrow Beach Resort, Panambur, Mangaluru.
Dr. Mamatha BS, Staff Coordinator, Alumni Association welcomed the gathering. The event was graced by Dr. Syed Riyaz Ahammed, Dy. Director, International Relations, Nitte DU as the chief guest and Mr. Prasanna Kailaje, Dy. Director, Alumni Relations, Nitte DU as the guest of honour. Dr. (Prof) Dr. Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER, presided over the formal event.
Dr. Syed appreciated the institute’s efforts in organizing Milan 2025 and emphasized the importance of alumni in institutional growth, while Mr. Kailaje highlighted the valuable role of alumni associations in strengthening academic and professional ecosystems within an institute. The formal function concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Alumni President Ms. Saloni. The formal function was compered by Ms. Varsha Shetty.
The informal celebration featured fun-filled games, engaging activities and a musical performance by Mr. Rahul, Alumni Secretary. Cultural programs, alumni interactions created a lively and nostalgic atmosphere as former students reunited with friends & faculty recollecting campus memories. The event concluded with a delightful dinner, marking Milan 2025 as a memorable and successful gathering that strengthened the bond between alumni and the institution.
