Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services (NIHS) in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Karnataka Ecotourism Development Board, Bengaluru conducted an awareness program titled “Living With Snakes” on 17th February 2026 in the college premises.
The session was led by Mr. Rahul Aradhya BM, Conservation Educator, Human-Animal Conflict Mitigation Manager and Biodiversity & Ecotourism Specialist from Bengaluru. The primary objective of the program was to create awareness among students about snake ecology, their vital role in maintaining ecological balance and the importance of peaceful coexistence between humans and wildlife.
