A farewell ceremony was organized for the II PUC students of Dr. NSAM Pre-University College, Mangaluru on 19th January 2026. Chief guest Mr. Prasanna Shetty Bailur, a noted film & theatre artist, stressed that education brings respect, but true success is defined by humility, integrity, cultural values and loyalty rather than marks alone. He inspired students to fulfill their parents’ dreams and work toward a meaningful life.
The program was presided over by the Principal, Dr. Naveen Shetty K, who emphasized that parents’ blessings form the foundation of a child’s achievements and cited Dr. N Vinaya Hegde, the founder of the Nitte group of institutions, as a role model. He further stated that consistent hard work leads to success and that a true achiever never fails.
The event featured cultural and entertainment programs by students, emotional speeches and heartfelt wishes from lecturers. The farewell ceremony ended on a warm and memorable note, inspiring the students to move forward with confidence and cherished memories of their college life.
