The Departments of Orthopaedics and Anatomy of KS Hegde Medical Academy in association with the Canara Orthopaedic Society and Karnataka Orthopaedic Association, conducted the KSHEMA Knotting and Suturing Workshop on 7th December 2025 at the Anatomy Dissection Hall. The workshop featured lectures on various suturing techniques, followed by hands-on dry and wet lab sessions. The dry lab focused on training in various knots and sutures, while the wet lab provided practical experience in tendon suturing with porcine specimens.
The program was organized by Dr. Sreedhish K, with expert sessions delivered by Dr. Siddharth M Shetty, Dr. Jeevan P, Dr. Kiran Hari, Dr. Shruthikanth, Dr. Latheesh Leo, Dr. Nikhil Shetty and Dr. Mithun Pai. The workshop was attended by over 80 delegates from various medical colleges.
