Nitte Institute of Communication (NICO) marked a proud moment as two of its students, Mr. Aditya and Ms. Swaramika, contributed as field photographers at the Ultimate Frisbee Beach Nationals 2026, held at the Blue Flag Eco Beach, Tannirbhavi, Mangaluru from 6th to 8th March 2026.
Organised by the Karnataka Ultimate Players Association (KUPA), the national-level championship witnessed participation from teams across the country. As part of a collaborative initiative, NICO students joined the event’s media crew to document the tournament through photography and videography.
Over the course of two days, Aditya and Swaramika captured key moments from the matches, demonstrating strong technical skills, creativity and professionalism while covering the event in a dynamic outdoor environment. Their efforts received special appreciation from Mr. Abhijit Kumar, President of KUPA, who personally conveyed his compliments to the institute. He remarked that Nitte students displayed remarkable professionalism and expressed interest in collaborating with NICO for similar initiatives in the future.
The institute congratulates Aditya and Swaramika for representing NICO with excellence and professionalism.
