Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences (NUINS), Mangalore, organized a Skill Enhancement Consultancy Program under its Vriddhi Industry-Academia Collaboration initiative on 6th June 2026 for 50 BSc Nursing students and three faculty members from Red Crescent College of Nursing, Kozhikode, Kerala.
The program focused on enhancing clinical skills through simulation-based learning and hands-on training. Sessions on syringe pump usage, Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and the management of labour and postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) were conducted by expert faculty members from NUINS.
Participants also toured the institution’s advanced simulation laboratories and learning facilities. The program promoted competency-based learning, academic collaboration and professional development, aligning with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
