As part of the International Short-Term Student Exchange Program with Bright Technical and Vocational Institute, Iraq and Komar University of Science & Technology, Sulaymaniyah, KRG, Iraq, students and faculty visited the Central Research Laboratory (CRL) of KS Hegde Medical Academy on 15th July 2026.
A total of 11 students, accompanied by 2 faculty members, visited the CRL. The CRL faculty provided an overview of the various specialized laboratories to the visitors, highlighting the available facilities, advanced instrumentation and ongoing research activities. The participants gained insights into the laboratory infrastructure and research capabilities through interactive sessions with the faculty members.
As part of a short-term student exchange program, an MLT student from Bright Technical and Vocational Institute, Iraq, underwent a 2-week training in cytogenetic techniques.
