A guest lecture on “Opportunities and Skill Gap” was organized by the Department of Radiodiagnosis & Imaging, NIAHS on 4th February 2026 to provide insights to students on the existing skill gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
Resource person Mr. Ajay Nair, Principal Secretary to the Chairman, University Affairs, IIMSTC, emphasized the importance of skill development, adaptability to industry changes and lifelong learning to meet evolving industry demand. He highlighted the importance of practical exposure,
effective communication and multicultural competence, along with developing interdisciplinary experience, to enhance student employability.
40 students took part in the session.
