The Department of Gastroenterology, Nitte Centre for Digestive Disorders, Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Deralakatte organized the Advanced Third Space Endoscopy Workshop 2026 on 6th September 2026. The workshop featured expert interactions, academic sessions and live demonstrations of Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM), EUS-guided cystogastrostomy and EUS-guided rendezvous ERCP.
Dr. Mahesh Menon, Sr. Consultant & Gastroenterologist, Aster MIMS, Kottakkal, Kerala delivered an expert talk on the Role of EUS in Management of Fundal Varices. Dr. Hitesh, Medical Gastroenterologist & co-founder, Bharathi Hospital, Hassan participated in the academic & procedural sessions. Anaesthesia support was provided by Dr. Navinkumar Pakkala & team. The workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. Chandrashekar Sorake, Sr. Consultant & HoD, Medical Gastroenterology, KSHEMA.
