News from NUINS | Emergency Nursing Life Support (ENLS) Provider Course and Training of Trainers (ToT) Programme

The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, NUINS, in association with JeevaRaksha Trust, organized an Emergency Nursing Life Support (ENLS) Provider Course and Training of Trainers (ToT) program from 29th July to 3rd August 2026 at the SIM Lab, Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital with a view to enhance participants' knowledge and practical competencies in emergency nursing, develop skills in the early recognition & management of critically ill patients, strengthen teamwork & communication through scenario-based learning and prepare participants to become competent ENLS trainers.

The program included faculty orientation, interactive lectures, simulation-based skill stations, practical demonstrations, theory & practical assessments and a Training of Trainers (ToT) session focusing on adult learning principles, facilitation, communication, training methodologies and micro-teaching. The program concluded with course evaluation, participant feedback and a valedictory function. A total of 25 delegates, comprising 13 nursing students and 12 nursing faculty participated in the program.
