News from NSAMPUCM | Inauguration of the Commerce Association

The Commerce Association of Dr. NSAM Pre-University College, Nanthoor, was inaugurated on 25 August 2026. The program aimed to encourage students to explore the dynamic world of commerce and gain practical knowledge beyond the classroom.

The program was inaugurated by Sri E. Narendra, Lecturer at J.S. College, Bengaluru. In his inaugural address, he observed that globalisation, digitalisation and modern communication technologies have brought significant changes to the business sector. He advised students to keep abreast of changing trends in commerce while striving for academic excellence. Dr. Naveen Shetty K., Principal, NSAM PUC and President of the Dakshina Kannada Pre-University College Principals’ Association, presided over the program. In his presidential address, he highlighted the growing opportunities in the field of commerce and encouraged students to supplement their academic learning with practical knowledge through the activities of the Commerce Association.

As part of the program, student members of the Commerce Association displayed informative articles and creative models related to various aspects of commerce.
