News from NSFTID | NSFTID celebrates the 12th National Handloom Day

Nitte School of Fashion Technology & Interior Design (NSFTID) observed the 12th National Handloom Day on 7th August 2026. As part of the celebration, Mr. Vasudevallu, Lab Assistant at NSFTID, was recognized for his contribution to promoting weaving culture. The event also provided students with an opportunity to learn about India’s handloom traditions and the cultural significance of handwoven textiles.
