On September 25th 2014 the dept surgery. K.S.Hedge medical academy conducted an intercollegiate quiz competition for undergraduates. Nine colleges in Karnataka which included KMC mangalore, KMC manipal, A.J.Shetty institute of health science, Father Mullers medical college mangalore, Yenepoya medical college mangalore, KVG Sullia medical college, Mysore medical college, JSS medical college Mysore, KSHEMA, SDM Dharwad participated in the competition.
