The Department of Community Medicine organized a Health Camp / Outreach Program, "Anganavadi Childlren Health check up" on 28-12-2015 at Anganwadi kendra subrahmanya. It was conducted by Interns Dr.Vishnudas & Dr.Rahul R under the supervision of Dr. N.Uday Kiran, and Mr.Santhosh N P & Mr.Tharanath assisted the camp Results: Out of 35 children examined two children had average personal hygiene and six children had long finger nails. 2 children were underweight and malnourished. 5 children had dental caries and were advised dental follow-ups. 1 child was found to have upper respiratory tract infection was advised to come to the Subramanya health centre. All children have been immunized as per schedule. They were also educated regarding hand washing practice, personal hygiene and about healthy diet.
