The Department of Public Health Dentistry, A. B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in association with K. Srinivas Hedge Memorial Health Centre, Bailoor and Lion’s and Lioness Club, Nire Bailoor, conducted a free oral screening and treatment camp at K. Srinivas Hedge Memorial Health Centre, Bailoor on 27.09.2016. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Dinesh Chandra Hegde, Administrative Officer, K. Srinivas Hedge Memorial Health Centre, Bailoor. The team was headed by Dr. Sahana Maben, Rural Health Coordinator, Dr. Diana D’Souza and Dr. Reena D’Souza, Staff Incharge, K. Srinivas Hedge Memorial Health Centre, Bailoor.
About 125 patients were screened and 67 patients were treated of which 4 had undergone extraction, 9 had undergone filling and 54 had undergone scaling.
