News from NUINS | STREAMLINING RESEARCH PROCESSES: HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE

As a part of nursing education, I year MSc nursing students and II year PB BSc nursing students along with the faculty of the Community Health Nursing Department organized a Regional Workshop on ‘Streamlining Research Processes: Hands-on Experience’ on 17th April 2024 at NUINS Learning Center.

Prof. (Dr) Aravinda CV and Dr. Shashank Shetty, Assistant Professor from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte were the resource persons. They delivered a lecture on latex software and demonstrated its working to all the participants. A hands-on session on Mendeley software was also conducted for all the participants.

A total of 60 participants comprising of 20 undergraduates, 11 postgraduates and 29 faculty from various colleges of nursing and pharmacy participated in the training program.

Dr. Leena K.C, Principal, Yenopoya College of Nursing shared her feedback on the usefulness of the workshop. Ms. Roselyn, Student Program Organizer proposed the vote of thanks and Ms. Christie Koyu of I MSc Nursing compered the program.
