Lamp Lighting Ceremony - NUINS

Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences has conducted the lamp lighting ceremony of 25th batch of B Sc (N) and GNM students on 26th November 2016 in Paneer Campus Auditorium at 10.00 am. Prof. Prathibha Lydia Braggs, Principal, Dhanwanthari College of Nursing, Udupi was the Chief Guest of the function.

Dr. Prof. Fatima D’Silva, Principal College of Nursing, Prof. Sabitha Nayak, Vice-Principal, College of Nursing, Mrs. Cleeta Pinto, Principal, School of Nursing and Assoc. Prof. Saritha Telma Fernandes, SNA Advisor were present for the function. The programme started with a video presentation regarding the significance of nursing profession. Asso. Prof. Saritha Telma Fernandes delivered the welcome speech and the function began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by all the dignitaries. Chief Guest Prof. Prathibha Lydia Braggs, Principal, Dhanwanthari College of Nursing garlanded Florence Nightingale as a token of honor. The dignitaries lighted the lamp to all 152 students and Mrs. Cleeta Pinto, Principal; School of Nursing led the students in oath taking. Mrs. Harsha Thomas, Coordinator I Year B Sc (N) proposed the vote of thanks. .
