Talk on Importance of Self Employment– 6Sep 2017 - NMAMIT

As part of student exchange programme between Nitte University and Govt. West College, Aizawal, 34 students of Northeastern states of India like Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh along with two faculty members visited NMAMIT on 6 Sep 2017. Dr. Balasubramani R – Professor of ISE and Chief Project Leader – EDC delivered a talk on Importance of Self Employment for the benefit of those students. He emphasized on the Govt. India’s Startup India movement and various benefits offered to startups through Govt. agencies and private funding opportunities. He asked students to become job providers rather than job seekers. Faculty from Nitte University, Mr. Krishnaraja Joisa - PRO, NMAMIT and Mrs. Geetha - EDC Programme Coordinator also attended the talk.
