Guest Lecture - NGSMIPS

Department of Pharmacognosy, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Paneer, Deralakatte, Mangalore, organised a guest lecture on 6th September 2019 on the topic "Isolation and characterization of certain commercially important natural products" by Dr. K. K. Srinivasan, Professor, Department of Chemistry, Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, Udupi. Dr. C.S.Shastry, Principal welcomed and formally introduced Dr. Srinivasan to the gathering. Dr. Srinivasan elaborately described about different classes of phytoconstitutents and their importance. He also emphasized on methods of isolation, characterization, identification of these phytoconstituents. Members of the faculty, B. Pharm and M.Pharm students attended the lecture.
