World Aids Day 2021

The NSS Unit of A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences organised a guest lecture by Fr. Siby Kaitharan MI, Director, Sneha Sadan, (St. Camillus Care Home for HIV/AIDS patients) titled ‘A social perspective on the Quality of life of people having HIV/AIDS’ on World Aids Day 2021 at Avishkar, ABSMIDS.

The program began with the prayer by Mrs. Vinuthini. Dr. Kumuda Rao, Program Officer, NSS unit was the master of the ceremony and introduced the speaker. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Nitte DU was the chief guest. The program was presided over by the Principal & Dean Prof. (Dr) US Krishna Nayak. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Avaneendra Talwar. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
