74th Republic Day was celebrated in all grandeur at Dr. MRSM English Medium High School. The celebration began with the rendition of Vande Mataram. Principal, Ms. Shreelatha Rao unfurled the national flag and addressed the students stressing on the importance of discipline in a student's life.
The students delivered patriotic speeches - Saachi of Class VI in English, Anshul Bhandary of Class X in Hindi and Vybhav PV of Class X in Kannada. PTA President Mr Swaraj Shetty spoke about the Constitution of India and Vice President of PTA, Mr Pushparaj Chowta also addressed the gathering.
Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides of the School showcased a well synchronised mass drill with Hula Hoops, Aerobics, Dumbbells and Lezims respectively.
The program ended with the distribution of sweets.
