The Department of Public Health Dentistry, AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences in association with Padupanambur Grama Panchayat; Primary Health Centre Attur Kemral; Lions Club MJF Mulki and Leo Club Mulki, conducted a free dental treatment camp for the Koraga tribal community at Swami Koragajja Sabha Bhavan, Kerekad, Thokur on 14.02.2023. Oral health awareness was provided.
A total of 18 patients, belonging to the Koraga tribe, were screened during the camp. 4 patients underwent GIC restorations, 1 patient - extraction, 6 patients - oral prophylaxis and 8 patients were referred to the dental college and Talipady Rural Centre for further treatment.
