The Medical Education Unit of KSHEMA conducted a 2-day workshop on “Research Methodology” for the postgraduates of the 2022-23 batch on 10th and 18th January 2023. A total of 118 postgraduates participated in the workshop.
Introduction to Research, Decoding, Synopsis protocol of KSHEMA, Research Question/Hypothesis & Objectives, Literature review & Reference writing, Sample size calculation, Basics of Statistics, Data management, Study Design, Ethical Issues in Research, Sampling Methods, Data collection tools & its principles, Synopsis writing & Dummy tables, MD/MS dissertation guidelines of Nitte University were discussed. A mock presentation of the synopsis was performed.
Participants were very interactive and their feedback was good.
