National Science Day is celebrated on 28th February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by the Indian physicist, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman. It is observed to spread a notable message about the importance of science in the daily life of the people. This event is a great platform for students to create awareness on Science & Technology.
In commemoration of National Science Day, Dhruthi RS of Class 8 gave a brief talk on Raman Effect followed by a video presentation on Inventions & Applications of Raman Spectra and an interactive session.
