Fresher’s Day of NUINS was celebrated on 27th September 2024 at the KS Hegde Auditorium. Ms. Pearl, II BSc welcomed the gathering. The program started with a prayer song by Ms. Blessiya & group. Ms. Rishal, II BSc welcomed the gathering. This was followed by unveiling the title theme of the Fresher’s day program - ‘Euphoria’.
The freshers were greeted with a dazzling ramp walk, organized by students of II BSc Nursing & GNM. Mr. Royston Martis, Sports Secretary, NUINS & National Level Athlete reflected on his student life experiences and highlighted how the institution’s support and facilities played a vital role in his remarkable achievements. Prof. (Dr) Fatima Dsilva, Principal, NUINS, addressed the gathering and wished the freshers good luck for their future endeavors. SNA Vice President, Mr. Dewas Karaire delivered the vote of thanks.
Freshers along with their seniors were given the opportunity to display their talent through group singing and solo / group dances & games. Ramp walk competition was held to add more enjoyment to the festivities. Ms. Tashi Choezom, I GNM and Mr. Abin Stephen, I BSc Nursing were adjudged as Ms. and Mr. Fresher, respectively. The ramp walk was judged by the faculty members Mr. Teja and Ms. Tincy Thomas. A total of 395 students and 25 faculty members attended the program.
