News from KSHEMA | Training program on Laboratory Management System and Internal Audit

The Departments of Pathology, Biochemistry and Microbiology organized a training program on Laboratory Management System and Internal Audit as per ISO 15189:2022 in association with the Foundation for Quality (India) from 13th to 16th May 2024 at K S Hegde Medical Academy, Deralaktte.

Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty, Vice Dean, Professor & Head, Dept. of Pathology welcomed the gathering.  Dr. Sukanya Shetty, Professor & Head, Biochemistry delivered the vote of thanks. 42 delegates, including 30 teaching faculty and 12 Lab technicians participated in the program. Dr. Thuppil Venkatesh, CEO & Founder Director, Foundation for Quality (India), Past President of ACBI; Prof (Dr) Usha Anand & Dr CV Anand, Faculty, Foundation for Quality India and Dr. R. Ravikumar, Chief Coordinator NABH, Chairman - Lab Committee NABH Accreditation Cell were the resource persons for the training program.
