The Medical Education Unit, KSHEMA, organized a Yoga Training program for the Medical & Allied Health Science students from 12th to 20th June 2024 at the BC Alva Indoor Stadium.
Dr. Mahima R Banjan, NIPT was the chief facilitator. Yogasanas, including pranayama & meditation, were taught during the session. There were around 100 participants.
This program culminated on International Yoga Day, celebrated on 21st June 2024 in association with the NSS Unit of Nitte (DU). The chief guest was Prof. Dr. Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice President (ISR & CRL), Nitte (DU). He emphasized the importance of yoga for a stress-free life.
Dr. Jayaprakash Shetty, I/c Dean & Dr. Amrit Mirajkar, Vice Dean (Academics), KSHEMA were also present. Mr. Shashi Kumar Shetty, NSS Coordinator welcomed the gathering.
Dr Kishan Prasad HL, Professor of Pathology & MEU Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.
