The Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services proudly hosted "Aatidonji Dina," an intercollegiate cultural event celebrating the rich heritage of coastal Karnataka on 13th August 2024. The event welcomed distinguished guests including Mr. Taranath Gatty, President, Tulu Sahitya Academy; Mr. Umar U.H., President, Beary Sahitya Academy and Mr. Joachim Alvares, President, Konkani Sahitya Academy, Karnataka.
This vibrant event gave students a deeper insight of the Aati festival, highlighting its cultural significance, age-old rituals and history. Students organized engaging activities connected to the festival, like folk dance, folk song performances, poster making, reel creation and cooking competition.
