News from NIMT | Third Place Indian Karting Race 2024

Team Trydan Motorsports NMIT, guided by Dr. Harish Kumar L, Associate Professor, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, secured 2nd runners-up (3rd place) in the CV category at the Indian Karting Race 2024 held in Greater Noida from 4th to 11th October 2024.

In addition to achieving an All India Rank of 3rd, the team won the following individual awards:
1. Best Innovation Award
2. Future Award
3. Dr. Harish Kumar won the Faculty Appreciation Award.

As one of the finalists, Trydan Kart was among the few that successfully completed all the dynamic events after clearing technical inspection.

This is the first time ever that the NMIT Motorsport Team has achieved a podium finish. The overall built quality of kart and presentation of the team, earned them points to secure the 3rd spot.
