Inaugurating the Council, Ms. Shakila Kava, Corporator MCC said “If students cultivate leadership qualities, they can achieve anything in their lives”. She added that students of today are multi-talented and success is guaranteed to those who have humility, leadership qualities along with good academic performance. She also urged the students to join hands with those who work for the betterment of the society.
Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty K said that there are many opportunities for today’s young generation. He added that leadership is not just a mere role. It is a responsibility and a leader is someone who has a vision and can bring changes for the better with the support of his team and convert his vision to reality.
The students elected as President / Secretary of various Committees, Red Cross, NSS and Class representatives were delegated responsibilities on this occasion.
Ms. Pooja Shetty from Commerce section was elected as the President and Ms. Sahithi Rai from Science section was elected as Secretary of the Student Council.
Mr. Prakash, English Lecturer compered the program. Mr. Mahesh, Kannada Lecturer welcomed the gathering and Ms. Sahithi Rai delivered the vote of thanks.
