News from NMAMIT | Hands-on training program for the ITI students in Machine Tools

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte in association with the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering organized a ten-day Hands-on training program for the ITI students in Machine Tools (Lathe and Milling).

The inauguration of the training program was held on 26th March 2021 at the Machine Shop of the institute. Dr. Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal advised the participants to make use of the opportunities available in enhancing the most needed technical skills for real-time application in entrepreneurial career options.

Dr. Shashikantha Karinka, Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Gururaja Upadyaya, Associate Professor and Training Program Coordinator and Mr. Gururaj, Lecturer, M R Poonja ITI were present.  Dr. Ramakrishna B., Chief Project Leader coordinated the training program.

Nineteen students from M R Punja Industrial Training Institute registered for the training program.
