News from NIPT | Webinar on " Unravelling CBR and Preventing Disabilities in the Community"

A webinar on " Unravelling CBR and Preventing Disabilities in the Community" was conducted by Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy, on 27th May 2021, at 10 am on Google Meet platform.

Prof. Dr. Dhanesh Kumar KU, Principal, NIPT, welcomed the delegates to the webinar. The resource person for the webinar was Mrs. Nayak Sharada Lakshmana, Associate Professor, at Acharya’s NR Institute of Physiotherapy, Bangalore, who delivered an exemplary talk on the webinar topic.

She gave a deep insight into the disability screening, disability prevention in the community and the role of Physiotherapist in Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR). The brainstorming question and answer session further intensified the cognizance of the webinar. A total of 556 participants were registered for the webinar.
