The Department of Public Health, KS Hegde Medical Academy congratulates Roshan Jose, student of MPH on being selected to participate in the Indo German Centre for Sustainability (IGCS), Summer School 2021, themed "Sustainable Water Management at the Saltwater – Freshwater Interface" and for securing the scholarship. The summer school will be held online for 12 days, between 12th & 23rd July 2021 and will focus on environmental protection, water resource management, energy, land use, rural development and waste management. The school will also discuss means to promote sustainable development in Germany, India and South Asia. Conducted by the Indo-German Centre for Sustainability, CAU Kiel University, Germany, in collaboration with IIT Madras, India, a total of 40 graduates studying in Indian and German Universities were selected for the event. Amounting to 240 EUR, the scholarships are awarded by IGCS.
