The program commenced at 10 a.m through virtual mode via Google meet platform with a brief introduction and welcome by the MC, Ms. Jesia Mariam Koshy followed by invocation of God’s blessings and virtual lighting of the lamp by Ms. Roshna Roy & team. The official welcome address was given by Ms. Sandramol N K. A melodious song dedicated to the teachers of NUINS was rendered by Ms. Roshna and team. A video clipping paying tribute to teachers was presented by Mr. Savio Jose which made the teachers feel nostalgic, happy and emotional.
The SNA President and Principal of NUINS, Prof. Dr. Fatima D’silva addressed the gathering. She wished all the teachers on the occasion and appreciated their hard work & the efficiency of SNA Council members for organizing this function. She emphasized on the special bond a student and teacher has to build, which both should always honor and appreciate. She advised the students to respect and appreciate the teachers. She also reminded the teachers to value each student’s uniqueness and pave the way for their bright future.
A beautiful and graceful dance was performed by Ms. Aleena John and Ms. Aleena Jojy. Exciting and fun-filled virtual games were conducted exclusively for the teachers by Ms Esther Nzanrhoni, Ms. Livya Abraham & Ms. Anagha Thomas.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Oomen John Ashna.
