Udupi and Dakshina Kannada District Inter Polytechnic Invitational Men’s Volleyball Tournament was inaugurated by Sri Suhas Hegde, Proprietor, Sarala Wood Industries, Nandalike, Karkala. Sri A. Yogeesh Hegde, Registrar NET campus, Dr. Niranjan N. Chiplunkar, Principal, NMAMIT and Sri Shyamsundar M, Sports Administrator, NET Campus were the guests of honor. Sri Prashanth Kumar, Principal presided over the program. The tournament was organized by the Department of Physical Education & Sports, NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte.
A total number of 11 teams participated in the tournament. The Championship Trophy was bagged by NRAM Polytechnic, Nitte. Government Polytechnic Institute was the first runner up, followed by SNM Polytechnic Moodabidri and KVG Polytechnic, Sullia.
Sri Muralidhar Sharma K, former Physical Education Director, NRAM Polytechnic distributed the prizes.
