News from NUCSER | Alumni Induction Meet

ADHYETHA, the Alumni Association of NUCSER, organized an Alumni Induction Meet for the outgoing students at University Auditorium, Paneer Campus on 13th July, 2022. The Chief Guest of the program was Mr. Prasanna R Kailaje, Director, Student Welfare & Alumni Relations, Nitte (Deemed to be University). The induction program aimed at welcoming the students of 3rd BSc and 2nd MSc to Adhyetha and also to brief them about the Association and their role in it.

Dr. Rajeshwari Vittal, Alumni Coordinator of the Institute, welcomed the gathering. The activities of Adhyetha were presented by Ms. Akshatha Kotian, Treasurer of the association. Prof. Dr. Smitha Hegde, Dy. Director, NUCSER spoke about the importance of being a member of the Alumni Association. The Chief Guest, Mr. Prasanna R Kailaje highlighted the importance of staying connected to the Alma mater in his speech. He also made a small presentation on the Nitte Alumni Portal, and informed the students about the usefulness of the portal to connect to other alumni from constituent colleges of the university. Dr. Anirban Chakraborty, Director, NUCSER, presided over the function. Games and fun activities were conducted for the alumni and audience. Few of the alumni namely, Amna Nasmi, Sweedol, Sumith, Nithin shared their experiences at NUCSER and their journey so far.

The program concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Prithvisagar K S, Research Scholar and Alumni, NUCSER.
