The NSS Unit, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized "Meri Maati Mera Desh" - a program to envision a unified celebration of India's soil and valour, commemorating the nation's journey of freedom & progress and also to commemorate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India on August 14, 2023.
The Principal, Prof. Dr. CS Shastry welcomed the gathering & explained the significance of the program. He said that, by respecting our motherland and honoring our heroes, by participating & motivating others to participate in such programs would instill a sense of national pride in us and will inspire future generations to promote and protect India’s cherished heritage. He said that it our bounden duty to honor the soil of our country and pay tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the independence of our country. After the speech, the Principal led the gathering to take the pledge.
Dr. Santanu Saha, NSS Program Officer proposed the vote of thanks. The student volunteers of the NSS unit, the teaching & non-teaching staff participated in the program.
