News from ABSMIDS | Free dental health awareness and screening camp

The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry organised a free dental health awareness and screening camp on 4th July 2024 for the students belonging to the high school classes of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government High School, Deralakatte. A pediatric dental team, led by Dr. Ananthu, Lecturer along with the postgraduates visited the school. The interns posted in the department were also part of the camp.

A total of 183 students were screened for oral health check-up. The oral health status of the students was recorded and students, who required invasive dental procedures to be performed under local anaesthesia, were asked to report to the college for treatment.

The Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry organised a free dental health awareness and screening camp on 11th July 2024 for the upper primary section of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government High School, Deralakatte. Dr. Ananthu from the department led the team of postgraduates and interns. Oral health check-up was conducted for 205 students of Classes 5, 6 and 7.
